A beautiful, breezy day drew close to 400 people to the Garden’s fifth annual Kite Festival. Along with dragons, butterflies, and rainbow kites, the first ever octopus drew a lot of attention. It was one of the highest flying kites too.
Wudang Internal Martial Arts Academy students led by Dr. Mei-Hui Lu drew an appreciative audience for demonstrations of martial arts styles including pole, sword, taijichuan, and others. Thank you to The Boeing Company for its sponsorship and to Boeing volunteers who helped with event planning and during the festival.
